A Tooth becomes impacted when there is lack of space in the dental arch or its growth and eruption is prevented by overlying gum, bone or another tooth. it usually erupt bettween the age of 17-25. thus a erupting wisdom tooth can cause sudden onset of symptoms.

Tips in case of pain during erupting wisdom tooth
- Avoid chewing on affected side
- Avoid sleeping on affected side
- In case of swelling, do not apply any
- Heat fermentation over it
- Take a mild painkiller
- Consult a dentist at earliest.
